Wind Energy Sat August 14Comprising piano, flute, oboe, clarinet and violin, Wind Energy present a concert themed around their concerns about environmental sustainability. Featuring the compositions of pianist, Kristofer Spike, many of the pieces will be given their world premiere including Hopenhagen Nopenhagen, written to express his dismay at the outcome of the climate talks in Copenhagen last year. Kris's music is heard regularly on ABC Classic FM and is characterised by soaring melodies and rich, modal harmonies. Part of the proceeds will be going to the Nature Conservation Council.
